Isabelle turned 4 years old yesterday and had such a fun day. She woke up in the morning to a special breakfast. Aaron made her a Mickey Mouse pancake, complete with chocolate chip, eyes and nose and a bacon smile.
Last night we had a birthday party, and our family all came. The cousins had a lot of fun together and the dinner was great. Thank you everyone for contributing to the dinner.
The birthday cake we had for her was Fairytopia Barbie. We wanted Strawberry Shortcake, because Isabelle had wanted her Strawberry cake-cake cake for a while. But, they didn't have that at Dicks, and Aaron went to target, walmart and albertsons and no strawberry shortcake anything anywhere. We were disappointed but Isabelle just didn't mind at all, even though her choice was SSC. She was just fine with FtB. The sweetheart. I thought there might be a breakdown, but nope.
The day went well and the only hitch was in my videoing. I thought I pushed record for the Happy Bday song, but nope. All well, nothing I can do about it now.
I love my little one, and can't believe I am a mom and have a daughter who is getting so big. I am so grateful to be having these experiences. It is the ultimate adventure to raise kids. I still want to have other adventures, lately it is living in Scotland and finding out more about my ancestors, but I am happy with my Husband and girls.

Happy B-day little cutie! I love her hair. I'll have to try that it looks so cute on her!
The only let day of the day for Belle was that she found out she has to wait a whole year before she can have another birthday.
