Different Point of View

So...last week or so, we had a little bird issue. We found one day that we had the beginnings of a bird nest in our BBQ Grill. Aaron cleaned it out and cooked our steaks. Then a few days later the girls and I kept seeing the same type of bird on our deck by our Grill and Ella kept saying "Bird, Bird," so I was suspicious. That night Aaron went to Grill again, and low and behold, another bunch of twigs and stuff.
I had a brilliant idea. I told Aaron he needed to build a bird house so the bird would have a place to put the youngsters. I was worried it was too late for the bird to find another spot. So, Aaron set to making me happy and made a bird house.
Aaron told me later that his mind went straight to a pellet gun or something when he found the nest in the Grill. Thinking that would solve the issue.
So, here we are. Aaron's mind works so different from mind. Two different point of views.

**Actually, what I (Aaron) said was, "I think a pellet gun and some good marksmanship would take care of the situation." And it would have! Plus we wouldn't have to worry about the birds finding a new place to make their nests. But be that as it may, I did make a bird house, a very, very fine house. But the house still sits vacant.**

I can totally see Aaron saying that. I'm glad that he made the bird house for you and girls though. I hope the bird builds its nest. It will be neat for the girls to have pet birds that arn't in the house.

Aaron -- the reason it's empty is because they knew what you were thinking when you were building it!!

Katie -- it's a good thing Aaron has you to counterbalance him :)

Love you guys!

HA HA HA - You know Aaron, I could just hear those exact words coming out of my hubby's mouth!!

But you know, he has a house full of sensitive girls as well and surely would have given into the bird house plan.

We used to have a nest right above our front door and at first we were like AWWWE. But two weeks of birds dive bombing our heads every time we went through the door changed our minds REALLY quick!!

Hope you get some visitors to that fancy bird house of yours.

How about the nest in the grill, are they still wanting to make that their home? Post a picture of the house I would love to see it.
