Mothers Day!

I just have to write a few things about Mothers Day. Since I have had such wonderful women in my life, I need to express my gratitude. My mother was so patient with me growing up. Yes, we always went to Dad if we really wanted something we didn't think mom would let us have or do. But, whenever we needed love or comfort Mom was there. All she has ever wanted was for our family to love one another. She would wait up for me late at night to get home from being out. She would make me cookies(and still does) when I need a little TLC. She would keep me home from school even if I was only a little sick but wanted to be home. She would drive all the way to Viewmont to bring me something for School that I had forgotten. She let me try out for anything and everything I wanted to do and was happy to drive me to all of my stuff. I think that Mothers are indispensable.

Knowing now that I am a mother and need to be all this to my children is overwhelming and slightly scary to me. But, at the same time I am grateful for every moment I have with my babies and love being the one to pick them up and help dust them off, comfort them when they are scared and help and love them.
I remember my Grandma Campbell. I used to go over to her house and she would make me a chicken pot pie. Then I would sometimes fall asleep under a little bench in her house. She would hum little soothing tunes to me, and ..... she loved me.
My Grandma Anderson was not a person I guess I was ever really close to, but I knew she loved me and she always had a smile on her face. She had to deal with a lot more physical issues than a woman should have to, but I never heard her complain or express any worries.

I now have a Mother in Law, Barb, and I am amazed at the wonderful strong characteristics she posseses. She is very different from the other women in my life, and Aaron is a lot like her. They have abilities and talents that I knew I needed in my life and I am grateful for Barb and Bunnie and all the other mothers that have been in Aaron's life. They have influenced Aaron for the better and I am so happy to have him and all those women in my life now. I have learned a lot of what makes Barb and the others what good people they are, over the past 6 years. I feel I have grown as a person and as a mother for having been able to learn from them.
I want to be like my mother, and the other women in my life, my sisters and friends. I love them all and thank them all for their patience and love for me and my daughters.

I am sorry I don't have more pictures of Women I am grateful for. There are many.
