Our trip to St George and Tuacan Theater

We had so much fun in Tuacan last weekend. Our first day, we set out and had the girls in the back, thought we had it all, got to bountiful for gas and had to turn back for some things. So we ended up an hour behind schedule. But, then we got off on the road. We had Allie finally turned around facing forward, although they are recommending now leaving them rear facing until two years. We made it at least to fourteen months. But really she is so small we really could leave her rear facing. Any who.. we drove with a few stops, Aaron forgot the diaper change at one stop, so we had to make another. Your asking yourselves why it was Aaron's job to change the baby, well, he volunteered. So don't think I was just trying to pass blame:)

Well we got down to St. George with enough time to stop at the Hotel, and head out to dinner before the show. So, we went to good old Cracker Barrel, and the girls liked it. We also shopped in their shop which I loved:) Then on to the Little Mermaid.

After dropping off Allie with the Grandparents. We headed to Tuacan, and we were so excited. Well, let me tell you, it was better than I was expecting. It was so fun. The staging and effects were so good. We are for sure heading there for Aladdin next year. The girls got a few pictures with the characters that night, but we missed getting Ariel and Eric, so I secretly decided we would go back on Friday before it was over to get them, but that was another night. Anyway, we left, got back to the hotel, put the fam to bed and that was it.

Day Two was fun as well, although I have to say at this point, that Allie our little one year old, is having now a phase. It is called the 'Daddy you can not put me down or leave me with anyone else, including mom' phase. It made the trip difficult, but as long as Aaron had her or he was gone long enough for her to get interested in something else, we were ok. We went and bought the girls their Princess Gowns from Cracker Barrel, that morning, then went on to look around at a dance wear place, then headed to lunch with the Biesingers and a game for Herb. The biggest reason all the Biesingers go down at this time of year is the Senior Games, which Papa Herb plays Soft Ball in. So, we watched several of his games while down there.

Well, after we watched a game I took the girls back to the room for a nap, and Allie cried almost the whole time, which was not great, then we slept a little. After that we met up with the girls Great Grandpa Don and Great Grandma Carol at some buffet I can't remember the name of, not Chuck O'rama, but something like it. Then we went back to swim at the hotel. That was a cold but somewhat fun time. The girls loved it, but it was hard keeping them out of the hot tub. Then sleep.

Day three was good, we swam I think first, then went to lots of Papa's Games, then tried naps, then Aaron and I and the girls went to the olive garden for dinner. Which we all loved. Allie loved eating there. The macaroni, just for note, is really decent there. The girls all loved it. Then it was off to Tuacan to get the pics of Ariel and Eric. We got there while the show was still going, and so Aaron had Allie watching it from the back, while I shopped. I think the girls got to watch a little more of it as well. And I bought a necklace and earings, that I love. Then we were first in line to get pictures and then left. It was late so we went to bed. SNNOORRREE

Day Four we decided not to leave to go back home, but stay an extra night. So I went shopping with the girls, picked up a cute costume for Allie at Old Navy. Then hurried back for more of Papas games. Oh I cannot forget that at this point Aaron had an appointment for me to get a Massage! Mmmmm Hmmmmm. Yep. He loves me. Well, then we finished Herbs games. He ended up placing second with one of his teams and then we all had dinner at some Mexican restaurant I can't remember the name of and then went back, then swam some more, I actually think this was the second time that day we swam. I think we swam in the morning with the kiddos and then at night with all the Biesinger's. Then we finally went to bed.

Our trip was good. The drive home was better than the drive down. I did some shopping, got a massage, we saw a great show, had fun swimming, got time with the Biesinger clan, it was a successful trip!
