Easter Fun!!



We had three Easter egg hunts on Saturday and the girls loved it! Way too much fun and lots and lots of Candy.

They had so much fun! And I got hit with one of those darts several times! At least they didn't hurt. Boys need toys, no matter how old they get!!

Our little Garden

Our first little garden.
Last week Aaron and the girls planted seeds in little planters in our basement. The girls loved the project, and they like to check on the progress every day. Belle is always asking "did they grow yet." We have had so much instruction lately on provident living, I am hoping this counts in that direction. We have always wanted to grow a garden and I would love to do fruit trees. My favorite food is dried fruit. I would love to bottle grape juice. When I was in high school, I would spend a lot of time at my friend Jessica's house. She would often have grape juice and mix it with lemonade. I think I fell totally in love with it and have wanted to do that ever since. She also had dried Nectarines. I would do anything to have that as a staple snack at my house. My neighbor has a really good recipe for apricot syrup, I would like to get. And if any of you have any good recipes or extra fruit this year, let me know.

It was a beautiful day and a touching ceremony. Congratulations, Jeff and Ashlee! You have made the best decision, and I wish you all the happiness in the world.

Ella, Ella, Ella.....Tsk

Someone tell me, what is this fasination with panties? Ella is always putting Belle's panties on over her cloths. Ever since she started noticing that kind of stuff she has insisted on sitting on the potty like Belle does, and when getting dressed after baths, she tries to pull off Belle's panties. Then she will grab Belle's tush and say "bummy" and laugh, like she discovered the best thing ever.

Snow Fun with the Fam at Monte Cristo

What an awesome Day!!! We went with Becky and Andy to Monte Cristo. They brought their snowmobiles and sleds and the girls loved it. I went on a long snow mobile ride with Andy and Aaron and we each rode a snowmobile. It was so fun. I was sore afterwards from trying to keep control of the monster, while zipping around like a turbo boost was on the back. Ha!!!! It was a blast.

Aaron took Belle on the Snow mobile and she loved it. When we got home that night she said, "Can we go back to the snow after we eat?"

Ella got her cast off finally. It is so hard trying to keep a cast clean and then out of water, with a child this age. She did adapt pretty well to it. If you ask her she still knows where her "owee" is.

It was a fun weekend with my friends from High School. We enjoyed shopping in Park City.
I don't know how to say it, but being with these girls is almost like healing, or maybe like a comforting blanket being put on. I don't know. But, it really is good to get together with the girls, listen to everyone's stories and advice. I love these women, and missed the couple of them that couldn't be there.
