Our little Bird nests
Summer Fun In Las Vegas
We were finally able to take a small vacation this year. So we spent a weekend in Las Vegas at Grandma Bunny and Grandpa Gene's house. We basically just swam the whole time. The weather was pretty windy and a little chilly, but the pool was a warm 91 degrees:) Now that is my kind of pool!!
Isabelle jumped off that diving board more times than any of us could count. Grandpa sat at his office window watching her for a while.
Aaron tried to get rid of his farmer tan, but I think that is a permanent thing now, Sorry Hun!
Ella was brave at first, but that slide was slick and fast and she wouldn't do it alone, so Daddy came to the rescue.
Ella liked it when "Big Daddy Bear" helped her.
1,2,3 go............
Just another jump off the diving board!
They played a game where Ella pushed Isabelle off the diving board and they would laugh. But, after Isabelle pushed Ella off the diving board, Ella refused to go off any more. Belle felt bad but it scared Ella enough I don't think she will try it again for a while.
So ends our trip to Vegas, the drive down was really good, but the drive back was so long. And it rained fat rain for a lot of the drive. It was nice to get out of the house before Baby 3 comes along. Thank You Bunny and Gene for letting us stay at your house. And thanks Aaron for taking us on such a fun little trip.

Love Watching my Baby Girls grow up.
I just have to take a minute to write about my Daughters. I can't believe I have been so blessed. I enjoy them so much. I love watching them play and dance. I love listening to them sing songs in the car, and then sing those songs in the bathroom. There is nothing like hearing a three year old sing. I am grateful to be the one to hold them and dry their tears when they are hurt. I love seeing them love one another. Most days it is hard for me to believe they are mine, but I am so happy they are.
Last night, I asked Isabelle to help me. I asked her if she wouldn't mind letting Ella wear the princess crown. Ella's heart was hurting, and I asked her if she had felt her heart hurt before. Then she went over to Ella and put the crown on her head. I was so touched that she would give it up for her sister, I just held Isabelle and was grateful at that moment that I could witness her beautiful heart, and love for her sister.

Easter 2010
We had such a fun Easter with the kids this year. It started with the Davis County Easter egg hunt in the morning where the Easter Bunny went around tickling the kids ears. The girls loved it. But Isabelle said when we were leaving that its just a person. So she wasn't fooled. Little Aleesa was scared of him but the other kids just laughed.

Kellen's first Easter egg hunt!

Then it was off to Grandma Barbs Easter Egg Hunt. All the kids had a number 1-11 or something and had to find their own.

After the hunt the kids did the traditional egg dying. Now that is one daunting activity I would not have dared to do at my house.

Opening the eggs is always fun.

Easter was fun, but we also got to enjoy a scavenger hunt with the girls. I drew little pictures and the girls had to figure out the clues and find the prize.
This is the first clue and they did a lot better at figuring out my very inartistic clues than Aaron would have. He kept making fun of my drawing.
