Allie is so hilarious. Every time I punish one of the girls, by making her stand with her nose against the wall, Allie goes to stand next to them and puts her chin on the wall. I can't even stand it, she is sooooooo cute. My littl' puddin' is just so funny. Ahhhhhh, the personality of these little cuties.

The chicken's
Tonight we were watching the "Best Two Years." It was on the BYU channel and we have not ever watched that movie with our kids. So, tonight we watched it, while eating popcorn and PinaColada's. The girls really got into the movie, and Isabelle even laughed really hard with me at some parts of the movie. When the elders were teaching the discussion to the American Kyle, Elder Rogers asked Kyle a question and Elder Calhoun (Kirby) held up a flip chart page that said "Yes". Belle and I busted up, it was so funny. I love watching good movies with the girls. It has been hard finding movies or anything on TV that we even think is OK for the girls to watch, and even if we do, the commercials are never safe. So, we have just stopped watching TV altogether. So we will occasionally watch old movies, or kids movies, or a KBYU, or PBS, or BYU special.
Anyway, at the end of the movie, the music that was on was inspiring Allie to do what I called a Baby chicken dance. She was bumping her little bum on the back of the couch and patting her tummy with her hands. So, we got up and after some leap frog action, all of us started doing the chicken dance (not Allie's version.)
Aren't these spur of the moment activities with your loved ones, the best moments of life. I hope I always remember, when the kids are gone and we have no more messes in the house, that the best years of my life were raising my babies. And enjoying the fun moments, with my little Chicken's.

Laughing
You know how you teach and teach and teach your children... Well they are getting something out of it. I discovered this today, or at least was reminded of it. The girls were getting out of hand, so I decided now was the time to start them on their chores. So, I said "Clean your rooms, girls. Make your beds, get your floor cleaned off and ready to vacuum. I will give you 20 minutes to get your rooms ready for vacuuming, if they are not ready in 20 minutes to vacuum, you will be punished." Then Ella said following my comment, "For our own sins and not for Adam's transgression."
Oh goodness, Aaron and I laughed and thought that is one of the funniest things ever. What a funny kid. Gotta love 'em.

New Year New Camera
So, I was recently inspired to sell my camera that I bought last year. Which I actually sold for more than I bought it for, so I was OK. ( No I did not scam anyone, I just bought it on a great sale!) I saw on groupon some classes for photography, which I have wanted to do, and let's face it, I need to know how to use my camera, not just mess around anymore. And this person who teaches these classes had on their website some tips in choosing a lens for one's camera. This is what inspired the sudden sale of my camera, which if the truth is to be told I was not happy with this camera anyway and this just cemented my decision. So, I put it on Amazon and KSL over the weekend, and this morning it sold. Wow, yes it sold pretty fast. (I wish all things in life worked out this way, fast action, quick resolution, instant gratification. But, alas... I will take what I can get.) So, here is my problem, do I now go for the camera everyone is raving about, or go for a solid model that just went off the market, buy it used and save myself the money. I think that is my best option, but I don't want to turn around and sell again next year. Hmmm......decisions are so hard for me. I sell my Nikon D50 last year, because I wanted a camera I could get more vivid color out of. Which I might have been able to just fix on Photo shop or learn how to use my camera. Then I buy the D3100, keep it for a year, can't use my new big lens on, so I sell that this year. What now, do I do this year, the D90 or the newer D7000? Any suggestions?
Happy new year
Merry Christmas
Our Christmas was crazy but fun. With Christmas being on Sunday and our Church at 9:00am it was tough getting everything done that day. I also had to Sing in the Church choir that day, so I had to be early even. We woke up the girls about 6:00am, and opened gifts. The girls got a big Kitchen so we couldn't just wait until after church to give them the Stuff. Anyway, we enjoyed Christmas, and all the activity.

Christmas activities
We did gingerbread houses this year and they were a lot of work, but the girls loved doing it. This is mine. I took pics of the girls but I can't find them right now.
The First Grade at Isabelles school did the polar express for their Christmas Party. I was a volunteer, so I took the girls with me and we had fun drinking hot chocolate and being with Belle. The first graders didn't even listen to any of the story, at least not that I could tell.

Are you serious!
Christmas Dance recitals
The girls had their dance showcase at Luv2Dance, for Christmas. It was fun to watch what they have been doing in their classes. I am happy that they seem to enjoy dancing. They look so stinkin cute in their little dance costumes.
They each got a little Christmas Bear after their dances.
